Lions, Tigers, and BEARS, oh my!

Well, we were thinking of heading to Virginia one weekend soon, for a quick trip, but now we have definitely changed our mind.

the night time stalker/visitor seen a few nights ago at a near by neighbor of Aaron's parent's house

Seriously!!!!

they do live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but seriously???

Well, due to soccer, preschool choir, and general busyness, maybe we'll just have to wait a few weeks, or months, or until winter. When does hibernation season start??

What's going down up in Spring Hill this week?

The 1980's Spring Fling at Abi's school

doing the macarena (no, mommy and daddy did not dress the part, just the kiddos)

Aiden clapping for the awesome dancers. (me and his siblings, of course)

breaking into his own fancy moves...

...then fun with friends. Glen and Ellie came over for dinner and baby Charlie needed a bath. So here are the two peas in a pod.

all clean and ready for bed (but not very happy)

and last but not least, our soccer star, Avery. He came out of his shell just a little bit, scoring 5 goals last Tuesday night and 6 or 7 on Saturday. (not sure how many, some goals can be a bit debatable) Now we just have to teach him to share the ball, literally, and to not take it away from his own teammates!

Crushers of Rock

Avery decided to play soccer this spring. He is on the Vulcan team, The Rock Crushers. He has enjoyed it so far. The first game Avery broke away with the ball, kicked it towards the goal, and MISSED. He then ran off the field crying and two games later won't really go back to play. At least this week he went on the field, but didn't play. Maybe this Saturday, when he brings snack for the team, he will be bribed into it???

a few pics of the first practice...

Avery and his buddy Ethan. one of the reasons he wanted to play...

a few pics of the first game...
Avery is purple #5. ( he was very excited when he found out his team was purple)

hopefully more pics to come if he decides to kick!!!

Just Monkeying Around

On Wednesday, we went to the Nashville Zoo with my parents. They have been wanting to take the children there for a while, so spring break was a great time.

Everyone agreed the monkeys were our favorite. They were "talking" when we arrived. They only do this several times a day. The kids loved watching them swing through the trees and talk. This light brown one loved the ropes and even walked all the way across like a tightrope, but Aaron didn't get a picture in time. We could have watched the monkeys all day!

We all agreed upon the ugliest animal as well--the anteater!

and especially for Aaron's sister, Sara...

the kids posing in the bamboo...

Abi petting a baby goat.

What a beautiful day it was!

Aiden's Disney Favorites

I love my big brother, especially when he feeds me!

Sleeping on the go, wherever, whenever I can...

the famous Aiden smile, scrunched up nose

so handsome...

spending time with Mommy

He loved the Finding Nemo show at Animal Kingdom!

He also loved the Monsters Inc. show, kept laughing at the monsters, had people looking and laughing at him and not the show.

But the best part of Disney, was his best friend Mickey who took the time to feed him his breakfast at Chef Mickey!

Avery's Disney Favorites

Avery loved the Boneyard at Animal Kingdom, lots of dinosaurs to climb, skeletons to look at, slides, water spouts, etc. We played here while Abi and Daddy rode The Dinosaur.

Avery loves a certain red-haired princess!

One of Avery's favorite characters--Donald Duck

He also loved Chip and Dale.

Very excited to "meet" Lightning McQueen

Also, Buzz Lightyear, or Buzz Lightning, as Avery calls him. He loved the two Buzz/Woody rides, one at Magic Kingdom and the other at Hollywood Studios!

Ahh, the Goofy Rollercoaster. He rode it at night with Aaron. Cried. Said it made the fireworks come out. (He rode it right when the fireworks started at Magic Kingdom--it was kind of spooky to ride it with fireworks right over top of you. Abi and I rode it next, she loved it!) The next day, Avery said it was his favorite, who knows???

So many fun moments, fun memories!!
