Summer fun has begun!
We started out the summer this week with a bang-- swimming, t-ball practices, picnic at the park with friends, and tonight, the Nashville Sounds.
ran into some friends at the game who happened to be sitting right behind us
I love this picture of Avery and my dad, Papa

how does your garden grow?
We felt inspired this year, partly from the economy and partly just for fun. Here are the results after one month!!
red peppers, green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, cucumbers, watermelon...
squash
broccoli
5 tomato plants
our little garden
and best of all, broccoli picked today and eaten for dinner!

Happy Birthday Aiden!
Happy Birthday, AA! as Abi would say...
We love you so much. God blessed us with a sweet, loving, always laughing, smiley boy. I can hardly believe you are one today. You bring such smiles, such joy to our everyday lives.

Happy Mother's Day!
A tribute to our mothers:
My mom, Mary Lou, who showed me how to be a great mother by example. Judy, my mother in law, who I wish lived a little closer to share in more of our everyday lives. She taught and helped shape my husband into the man and father he is today. Thank you!
We love you dearly and appreciate all you do. You are a wonderful Nana and Granma!
(don't kill me Judy, for the pictures. Aaron gave me your permission)

and to Aaron's grandmother, Nanny: Happy Mother's Day!
