Spring Sports
Ok, it's been over 2 months since I've blogged anything. We were super busy with basketball this winter, yet I failed to post any pictures. I'll have to go back and find some basketball pics and catch that up.
So off to spring sports...Aiden is playing soccer for the first time. Avery is playing baseball (with Aaron coaching) and Abi is playing softball. Her league is getting hard and is competitive so she was nervous to play. But she surprised us and is doing great!
Today I made it to Aiden's first soccer game. He scored a goal at the very end, breaking away with the ball and kicking it all the way down the field. He was super excited.
Abi played great too today. She has really improved and caught her first fly ball at a scrimmage last night. She played pitcher for two innings which is pretty intense. She got 2 good hits too.
I missed Avery's first game because of timing conflicts but Aaron and Nana were there. Apparently, Avery hit Aaron in the chest (he was pitching) with a line drive. He had several other great hits too and made several outs.
Here are some pics of Aiden playing soccer and Abi playing softball. I hope to catch some of Ave next week.

Yearly Grocery Totals!!!
Ok, I tallied up my totals for the year and here they are. This is my first full year of couponing so I was anxious to see the results.
Spent: $4095.18
Saved: $7619.92
So I got $11,715.10 of groceries for $4095.18. That is a 65% savings!
I averaged it out to $341 a month or $78 a week. I was hoping for a lower weekly total but that includes everything, toiletries, paper products, diapers, pull-ups, etc., not just groceries. Can't wait to start shopping in 2012 and see the results!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
1. They were free! Every year, at a Belmont basketball game, Santa and Mrs. Claus visit.
2. No one cried or was scared. Everyone cooperated for the first year ever!
3. We waited 60 seconds. No kidding. I saw on facebook today that a friend waited 2 hours in line with their kids to see Santa. Uhmmm, no thank you!
4. They were free!
Merry Christmas!

Abi's Writing
If I Could Travel All Over the World
by: Abi Johnson
If I could travel all over the world first I would go to Mississippi. There, I think I should eat pizza and zuccini with a chocolate sunday and dr. pepper. Next I would go to China. I would see the enormas wall of China. I would be tiny compared to that big thing. I wounder what kind of weather it would be at that point? But fun has just begun! I can't wait to go to Mexico! How will I speak Spanish? I would love to eat naochos. Yum yum! Now I'm going to Japan and eat "yuck" sushi why would I want to eat that? Coming up New York. Yay! I would be on broadway! Also I would eat popcorn and watch the newest movie coming out with my best friend, Emma. We would watch Rio! While were traveling we were going to go to Brazil in South America. I have to look sophisticated it sounds like and I will eat spagetti with tomato sause on the side too! I feel like I need some suplize right now to start my gps. Did I tell you? Well it isn't working ever sinse I started to travel. Anyway, I still have a compass ross we can use. Lets go to Europe that seems so far away. But we can get there! So in Europe lets ask someone what to do. Ok? Now its time for the funest of all Hawaii! We could go swiming and dance with the hola girls. Its time for lunch for drink I'll have coconut. Even though I didn't get all around the world I went to some amazing countrys, states, and citys. I'd like to get back home. I wanna do this again!
Love this entertainment! She obviously loves to write and loves to talk about food. All spelling errors, punctuation and writing was exactly how she wrote her essay. She scored a 5/6!

Stats
All 3 kiddos had their well visits last week. Somehow Aiden's got bumped from May and we just waited until fall to take him as well.
Here are their weight/height stats. I'm writing this, so one day, I can look back and laugh at it!
Abi: age 8-- a whopping 46 lbs. and 52 3/4 in. (4 ft., 4 3/4 in.)
Avery: age 6-- 41 lbs. and 45 3/4 in. (3 ft., 9 3/4 in.)
Aiden: age 3--37 lbs. and 37 in. ( 3 ft., 1 in.)
All are healthy! Gotta get the butter back out for Abi and stick some calories to her!

Summer Fun
We spent lots of time playing in the sand. Avery was very proud of the hole he dug!
We bought the kids "surf" boards that they loved. They charged right into the ocean and had a blast riding the waves.
